My Mum recently gave me a very interesting book about cellular structures in the body that she kindly found for me.
It is full of colourful images of highly enlarged microscope views, and I found it fascinating. Immediately I wanted to start drawing from it. The intricate structures are weird and wonderful, and strange to thing they all exist in all of our bodies.
So I've made a cushion collection based on my drawings from this book. Here are the results:
